Our tiny New York apartment

I'm sitting here thinking, holy cow it's March already? it seems like this year has gone by super fast. Were only here for another month. I have loved the experience I've had to come out here to New York and have the City life. it's had it's hard times though. I miss family and friends back home, I miss our apartment back home, and the grocery stores. it has been fun though going to museums and really good restaurants. but with  being college students and trying to budget, it seems like things can be expensive here. (gallon of milk is $5) Its also been really cold out so I spend most my days here at our tiny studio apartment. if I get sick of it I''ll adventure out and go to the temple or find a used book store and get a book, or i'll venture down to time square and walk around. I've gotten pretty good at figuring out the subway system here. Henry usually works until 8 or 9 at night and I get scared to go out that late by myself  but sometimes i'll meet him downtown and we'll got to dinner. we usually do things on the weekends cause he gets off earlier Friday and Saturday. so far our adventure has been a lot of fun. here are some pictures of our apartment.

this place has been good to us! bonus: we have an elevator and a laundry facility in the building. so I don't have to walk five stories with groceries (even though I should) and I don't have to lug my laundry a block to go do it.

  1. Oh my gosh! It's so cute and BIG! Trust me. :) Studio life is rough for the first couple of months and then you get all settled in a love it. I'm glad that you are having fun and enjoying your time there!
