I'm sitting here thinking, holy cow it's March already? it seems like this year has gone by super fast. Were only here for another month. I have loved the experience I've had to come out here to New York and have the City life. it's had it's hard times though. I miss family and friends back home, I miss our apartment back home, and the grocery stores. it has been fun though going to museums and really good restaurants. but with being college students and trying to budget, it seems like things can be expensive here. (gallon of milk is $5) Its also been really cold out so I spend most my days here at our tiny studio apartment. if I get sick of it I''ll adventure out and go to the temple or find a used book store and get a book, or i'll venture down to time square and walk around. I've gotten pretty good at figuring out the subway system here. Henry usually works until 8 or 9 at night and I get scared to go out that late by myself but sometimes i'll meet him downtown and we'll got to dinner. we usually do things on the weekends cause he gets off earlier Friday and Saturday. so far our adventure has been a lot of fun. here are some pictures of our apartment.

Love
With being out here in New York on Valentines Day I wanted to do something special for Henry. I'm not familiar with the city and were on a budget so I knew it had to be small but meaning full. I found the 14 days of Love on Pinterest and thought it was a cute and simple idea. so I did it, but only made it in to five days. On the Valentines day I told Henry he had to plan it. so we planed on going to dinner in Time square,
BAD IDEA!!! everyone and there mom had that idea and dinner wait was about 2hrs. so we found the Discovery museum and went to body world. When they came to Utah I heard it was a really neat exhibit, and they were right. if you ever get the chance, go! Henry thought it was just made out of wax models but there not there made out of real people. ( i know creepy right) but I guess people that have donated there body to science they used to create this wonderful exhibit. Then we ended up going to Planet Hollywood for dinner.

New Port, RI
During this journey I was able to visit Fort Adams in New Port, RI. It was cold but a lot of fun. I haven't been to the beach since I was about 14. so it was nice to go. When I went My sister n laws parents taught me about the cool things you can find on the beach. I guess back in the 1800's pottery and glass were dumped in to the ocean and you can find it today washed up on the beach. I was confused at how to find it but once they showed me what to look for it was a lot of fun.

Adventure Time/Family
Im late on updating this with all the fun things I've been doing this month and I am really sorry. It's nice though to have a blog while out her in New York cause I can use it as a journal to keep track of this MILEStone that we are going through right now in our life.
on January 21, 2014 I left for an adventure.. of course my husband started sooner then me by leaving the first of January, but that was an adventure as well. being apart for three weeks. I flew from Utah to Providence RI. Longest Flight ever. When I got there I was under the impression that it was just going to be my sister n law that would come pick me up.. but when i was talking to her and waiting for my luggage Sam came up and Surprised me. Best surprise. I haven't seen my brother and sister n law in over three years. every time they went home I had to work so I wasn't able to go. I spent a week and half there just hanging out getting to know my sister n law better and spending time with family. the first weekend I was there Henry took the train from New York to Connecticut. I was sooo excited to see my hubby, and excited cause this would be the first time Henry got to meet Sam and Miranda.

Henry hanging out with Mj and Diva
It was cute cause it took awhile for Diva to warm up to him. That Saturday we spent the day in Providence. That was a lot of fun. walked around the mall, played at Dave and Busters and went out to dinner. I was sad to say good bye to Henry that Sunday. The next Saturday was the day I would leave Feb, 1st but that morning we went to New Port, RI ( upcoming post). It feels good to finally be together again.
