I'm sitting here thinking, holy cow it's March already? it seems like this year has gone by super fast. Were only here for another month. I have loved the experience I've had to come out here to New York and have the City life. it's had it's hard times though. I miss family and friends back home, I miss our apartment back home, and the grocery stores. it has been fun though going to museums and really good restaurants. but with being college students and trying to budget, it seems like things can be expensive here. (gallon of milk is $5) Its also been really cold out so I spend most my days here at our tiny studio apartment. if I get sick of it I''ll adventure out and go to the temple or find a used book store and get a book, or i'll venture down to time square and walk around. I've gotten pretty good at figuring out the subway system here. Henry usually works until 8 or 9 at night and I get scared to go out that late by myself but sometimes i'll meet him downtown and we'll got to dinner. we usually do things on the weekends cause he gets off earlier Friday and Saturday. so far our adventure has been a lot of fun. here are some pictures of our apartment.

Love
With being out here in New York on Valentines Day I wanted to do something special for Henry. I'm not familiar with the city and were on a budget so I knew it had to be small but meaning full. I found the 14 days of Love on Pinterest and thought it was a cute and simple idea. so I did it, but only made it in to five days. On the Valentines day I told Henry he had to plan it. so we planed on going to dinner in Time square,
BAD IDEA!!! everyone and there mom had that idea and dinner wait was about 2hrs. so we found the Discovery museum and went to body world. When they came to Utah I heard it was a really neat exhibit, and they were right. if you ever get the chance, go! Henry thought it was just made out of wax models but there not there made out of real people. ( i know creepy right) but I guess people that have donated there body to science they used to create this wonderful exhibit. Then we ended up going to Planet Hollywood for dinner.

New Port, RI
During this journey I was able to visit Fort Adams in New Port, RI. It was cold but a lot of fun. I haven't been to the beach since I was about 14. so it was nice to go. When I went My sister n laws parents taught me about the cool things you can find on the beach. I guess back in the 1800's pottery and glass were dumped in to the ocean and you can find it today washed up on the beach. I was confused at how to find it but once they showed me what to look for it was a lot of fun.

Adventure Time/Family
Im late on updating this with all the fun things I've been doing this month and I am really sorry. It's nice though to have a blog while out her in New York cause I can use it as a journal to keep track of this MILEStone that we are going through right now in our life.
on January 21, 2014 I left for an adventure.. of course my husband started sooner then me by leaving the first of January, but that was an adventure as well. being apart for three weeks. I flew from Utah to Providence RI. Longest Flight ever. When I got there I was under the impression that it was just going to be my sister n law that would come pick me up.. but when i was talking to her and waiting for my luggage Sam came up and Surprised me. Best surprise. I haven't seen my brother and sister n law in over three years. every time they went home I had to work so I wasn't able to go. I spent a week and half there just hanging out getting to know my sister n law better and spending time with family. the first weekend I was there Henry took the train from New York to Connecticut. I was sooo excited to see my hubby, and excited cause this would be the first time Henry got to meet Sam and Miranda.

Henry hanging out with Mj and Diva
It was cute cause it took awhile for Diva to warm up to him. That Saturday we spent the day in Providence. That was a lot of fun. walked around the mall, played at Dave and Busters and went out to dinner. I was sad to say good bye to Henry that Sunday. The next Saturday was the day I would leave Feb, 1st but that morning we went to New Port, RI ( upcoming post). It feels good to finally be together again.

BREAKING NEWS!!!
To start off with I am Soo excited to write this blog... I've been wanting to write it for weeks now but couldn't.
As you all know Henry is in the Masters of Accounting at BYU, (if you didn't well now you do. :) ) This year has been hard for him, but good. Ever since Henry and I started dating he's always been way excited about his dream to be an accountant and work for a big four firm. In between the First and Second Year of the MAcc they have the opportunity to do an internship. Mind you it is extremely competitive with the big four firms. Henry had to interview here on campus, and then if he got a call back, they would fly him out for a second interview. Over this period of time I was a complete wreak. I had anxiety to the max and would stress all the time.. this is his dream and the beginning of starting our lives and his career. how could you not stress. Well he was called and emailed by two out of the three he interviewed for for fly outs. (2nd interview) Now that was a hard process as well. Since we've been married I haven't had a night alone away from him. He flew out, and had his second Interview and after the two interviews we just had to wait to hear if he got an offer. ( not very long) it was about a week after the first one and a couple days after the second one.. But his hard work and very long hours of studying has Paid off. out of both of the second interviews he got both of them!!! As of Monday he accepted and offer.. the reason why I am excited to write this is because... wait for it... the internship he will be doing for a couple months IS IN NEW YORK!!!!!!! I am so proud of him! this has been part of his dream as well, has been to work in New York. and when we went there on our honeymoon that just confirmed it more. The company he is working for is called KPMG. Out of the two he interviewed for this is the one I was hoping he would accept. I am so excited to Move to New York for many reasons but the main two are
1. My brother and sister n law have recently moved from Hawaii to Connecticut. (brother will be there in Jan) I am excited cause I can go visit them since I haven't seen them in 3 years.. plus they will be able to meet Henry.
2. I am excited to see more of New York and hopefully in the future move there, so while I'm there I'm going to be looking at schools to finish up my dental hygiene.
I am so very happy that the lord has not only answered my prayers with stressing but also Henry's and that Henry's dream is coming true!
* also since I didn't write a post about our honeymoon.. here are some pictures of us in New York

JUNE 8, 2011
This is the day that I met (officially) the man of my dreams. ( and yes he WAS the man of my dreams at that point). To give you a back ground of the story, Henry Miles came home from his mission April 8,2011. He gave his home coming talk that Sunday, and that's when I knew. I spent my time "stalking" him.. trying to talk to him, drooling over his adorableness, trying to get him to notice me... I even talked to him and he was looking at me and then looked away.. it was like I was invisible.. ( he doesn't remember this). So I thought I would give up..for a while. WELL on June, 8th we had a singles ward activity up Hobble Creek canyon. I saw my friend talking to him and when she came up to say hi I let her know I had a crush on him. well she invited me over to talk and that was the beginning..
this is shortly after we started dating.
JUNE 22,2011
So after we met (Officially) Henry and I hung out.. a lot. Any chance I could I would ask if he wanted to come along to an activity or hang out.. It was a fun time. On June 22, 2011 I was house sitting for a friend and some of my girlfriends came up and we went out and had dinner, and then after that Henry came up to Lehi and hung out with me for a bit. We just sat and talked, getting to know each other. I just remember sitting there thinking " I really like this guy" but thinking that he didn't like me back. Well when we were saying our good byes that's when he showed me he liked me.... :) YUP, you guessed it.. he kissed me.. I just remember going inside and feeling Like i was in a dream.. I called my mom and pretty much screamed into the phone.. HE KISSED ME HE KISSED ME.. tehehe she was confused at what happened until I told her the Story. Shortly after that we became official. (July 4th)
APRIL 4, 2013
The day he asked me to MARRY HIM!! Henry and I dated for 2 years ( a week after we got married). I knew that after three months I wanted to marry him.. for him, it took a little longer.. but man did I learn patience. I didn't want to let this guy go, so I waited and waited until he was ready. On April 4th. I had class that night and I ended up leaving early cause my grandparents were coming into town and wanted to go out to dinner with my cousin, her husband, Henry and I. Well we had been talking about getting married and engaged and went ring shopping all of those good things. I kept bugging him, wondering when it was going to happen. So that night I left class early and we headed to Red Robin. When we were standing there waiting for my grandparents and cousin, He proceeded to tell me things about him proposing.. like how things that lead up to it were important, and how I had a loner ring ( we got ours custom made and it wasn't done) and to not be disappointed.. so on so forth.. I was sitting there wondering why he was telling me all this.. He also wanted to go play a new video game that he got after dinner.. so I agreed. So we ate, had a good time, said our goodbyes and headed down to Springville to his parents house. I sat there and watched him play his video game( mostly played on my phone while he did) and around 10 pm I let him know it was getting late.. when we were getting ready to go he asked if I wanted to go swing ( our spot) I said sure it's a nice night, I didn't have work the next day. We proceeded to go up stairs and he said I have to go to the bathroom..( go grab the ring) well we went to turn on the back porch light and it wouldn't turn on.. it was pitch black. so he lead me to the swing and we sat there and talked for a bit... we ended up talking about how we first started dating and how he was nervous to talk to my dad.. Well, he got up and was like "I'm going to shut the back gate so Gunner ( his dog) doesn't get out" I looked and since it was super dark couldn't really tell, but it didn't look like the back gate was open.. I hear a click and all of a sudden the whole back yard lights up with white Christmas lights.. he had wrapped every tree in his back yard.. stupid me was like "this is nice" and proceeded to move over so he can sit down.. well when he grabbed my hand to have me stand up, that's when it clicked.. I started bawling. I kept saying "Are you joking, I feel like your joking" and then he got down on one knee and pulled out the ring (the loaner one) that's when I started crying harder and of Course I said YES! we stood there and hugged and kissed and I couldn't believe it I was going to Marry the man of my dreams!
